For this task students needed to research in detail the background issues and specific goals associated with one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. They then needed to develop an action plan on how they would go about taking action to support the implementation of that Global Goal. Finally, they took action as part of the GESS Sustainability Action Week and reflected on the outcomes of their actions. Through this work, students demonstrated that there can be a better future for everyone if humans learn to interact in a more inclusive and equitable manner. KEY OUTCOMES
