For this task students needed to complete research on what key features make up a country. They reviewed a wide range of different examples from around the world in order to gain a better understand of the factors that make make up our diverse and varied world. For this task students needed to complete research on one contemporary issue/topic affecting China today. They then wrote 2 newspaper articles from two different perspectives, one of these being from China’s perspective. Through undertaking this task students demonstrated their understanding of how the actions of empires are judged not only by their outcomes but also by perspective, which in turn is affected by culture and identity.
