For this task students needed to complete research on one contemporary issue/topic affecting China today. They then wrote 2 newspaper articles from two different perspectives, one of these being from China’s perspective. Through undertaking this task students demonstrated their understanding of how the actions of empires are judged not only by their outcomes but also by perspective, which in turn is affected by culture and identity.
